Lit is a 2d puzzle game for PC. It focuses on light manipulation to open doors and solve puzzles as you work your way out of purgatory. The game uses Sprite Lamp to create the 2d dynamic lighting. It was made by 6 students in one semester. It was shown at the 2018 Bradley University Scholarship Expo. The main character has been put into purgatory and must trust a tongue and cheek shadow creature to find her way out of this crazy place.
For Lit, I worked as a Producer and a 2d artist. My role consisted of managing schedules, assisting team members in designing and creating art assets, and troubleshooting the use of new applications used in development.
At the time, while working on this project I was also working on Creature Command. While working on this project, I learned the importance of time management as well as scope. The art needed for this project was exacerbated by Sprite Lamp but it was worth it in the end for the impressive look of the game.
Below is a video of gameplay, some of our sprites, and our pre-production list.

Here is the Pre-Production List. This list was a living document as well as the start of the production of Lit. It includes common names for assets and systems as well as brief descriptions, necessary details, due dates, as well as assigned team members for the project. This was then transferred to a variety of discipline docs to better organize the current status of each needed component.
